The Off Season by Catherine Gilbert Murdock
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I found this better than the first one, though the writing was still the same as the first, very hard to go through a paragraph without a run-on sentence in it. At times I just skipped some parts. Didn't miss a whole lot.
It was refreshing, however, to read about a girl and her family, and how she would cope with that much responsibility given at a young age. I look forward to reading the next book and about what's coming towards D.J.'s way now.
I'd love more (good) realistic ya trilogies/series now and then, rather than so many PNR.
